The local authorities intend to renovate the town centre and to create a new heart of the town. This intention was included in the adopted Local Revitalisation Program of the Town of Trzebinia. The area covered by the Program includes the Market Place, the Small Market, the area adjacent to the main building of the Town Hall in Trzebinia, the surroundings of the Trzebinia Communal Services Building and the following streets: Ochronkowa, Kościuszki, Narutowicza and Handlowa.

The building of a modern, two-level car park near the town market, the redevelopment of the surface of the Market Place, the renovation of the communal buildings in its neighbourhood and the construction of two new tenement houses was adopted as a priority project.

 

The first stage of the Revitalisation Program of the Town of Trzebinia - the redevelopment of the surface of the Market Place, the building of the car park and the renovation of the communal buildings in the town centre – realized in 2011, was co-financed by the Administration Council of the Lesser Poland Province (Zarząd Województwa Małopolskiego) within the framework of the Regional Operational Program of Lesser Poland for the years 2007-2013, Operation 6.1: Urban Development, Scheme A: Projects implemented within the framework of revitalisation programs only.
